The upper layer protocol set were selected from the following points.
・The protocols must be compatible with the 20 systems stated in "DEVELOPMENT" page.
・In view of the recent proliferation of Internet and Intranet and their effectiveness, the network layer will be principally governed by IP.
・Protocols above the transport layer should be highly compatible with IP.
In addition, protocols listed below were eliminated from the standard.
・Protocol which is currently in use, but speculated to be replaced by other protocol in the near future.
・Protocol which is estimated to be obsolete in near future.
・Operation Management Protocol
