| Summary | The spatio-temporal variability of the beach-litter quantity is investigated by voluntary civic organizations once in each two-month on the Hassaku-bana beach in Goto Islands in the course of three years. On the basis of these data, the oceanographers specify major marine-litter sources and marine-litter convergence areas using a numerical simulation model, HF ocean surface radars, and photographs taken continuously by webcams. |
