| Summary | Movements of water in river basins are various. Usually, simulation models are developed for each type of water movement. For example, there are simulation models for rainfall run-off, seepage into ground and inundation etc. Therefore, it is difficult to connect such models. NILIM is developing an execution environment, Common Modeling Platform for water-material circulation analysis: CommonMP for abbreviation, where multiple simulation models are able to run in cooperation with each other. First version of CommonMP was released at the end of March, 2010. |
