| Summary | In Japan, some important issues including population decrease, aging society, global warming have became evident. In order to tackle these issues, urban planning system and urban transportation policy should be reviewed and reformed as required. In this research, from the viewpoint of more concentrated urban structure, regal framework and individual measures in the field of urban planning and urban transportation in the major developed countries are reviewed. |
