| Summary | In order to make a new technical standard for the countermeasure of slope failure, we had been studying four main subjects; method of presumption of slope failure depth using a simple penetration machine, technique of estimating the size and power of collapsed soil, method of evaluation for measures effect and selecting kind of measures including new structures against slope failures suited to the law related to promotion of measures for sediment-related disaster prevention in a restricted area etc. due to sediment-related disaster, and applicability of risk analysis in measures of slope failure. Based on these result of reviews, rough draft of a new technical standard was made. |
