| Summary | Vibration control building structural systems utilizing uplift mechanisms which are applicable to structures with multi-spans are proposed. To realize uplift mechanisms, the base plates which can yield in the uplift direction are adopted. Seismic response behavior and energy dissipation mechanism of the proposed system are investigated based on time history analyses and modal analyses. |
