Outline of the Division |
@@The Urban Disaster Mitigation Division aims to improve the disaster prevention performances of cities and is investigating methods for constructing city structures that are earthquake resistant, technologies for planning disaster prevention facilities in cities, efficient methods for collecting and utilizing damage data, methods for using simulation technologies for predicting and restoring damages in cities for making disaster prevention plans and constructing disaster-resisting cities, and methods for evaluating and utilizing the disaster mitigation effects of green tracts of land and vacant land.
