| Summary | In this research, we examined applicability of environmental prediction model for riverine estuary and brackish lake. Ecological niche models for fish were developed with three techniques, i.e. generalized linear model (GLM), MaxEnt, and Random Forest. We could create available and reliable models for several fish species. Judging from these models, as for the habitat of fish at the riverine estuaries, it was suggested that the area of shallow water and intertidal zone (reed beds and tidal flats), and complexity of the littoral ecotone are important factors as habitats. |
