Summary | Plastic litter has disfigured the beaches of the worldfs coastlines and caused pollutions on coastal and marine environments. Most of the plastic litter is transported from far away by ocean currents as well as that out flowed from the near coast where it is beached. Thus, to lead a solution of this problem, it is important to clarify a process by which plastic litter is transported. As a first step to clarifying the transportation process in East Asian seas, we have sequentially monitored the amount of beached plastic litter using webcams at multiple sites. |
