| Summary | In 2007, the camouflage of specimen to pass the fire test to get approval of the Minister occurred and the doubt of the fire performance quality of fire retardant treated wood was pointed out to the contact point system. Fire safety has been more conscious on the point of fire preventive material, construction and equipment for retaining the quality. We investigated the state-of-the-art of the activity to retain the quality by both the association controlling the material, construction member and fire door approved by the Minister before 2000 and the individual body getting the approval of the Minister. Also we did fire tests for performance of fire retardant treated wood. We introduce the summary. |
