| Summary | As the economics of Japanfs neighboring countries have grown rapidly, problems have become increasingly evident, such as red tide and eutrophication caused by deterioration of the marine environment around Northwest Pacific. By constructing and using both land-based pollution model and hydrodynamic and water quality model, the authors found countermeasures such as sewer installation work effectively for reducing land-based pollution loads and conserving marine environment of Northwest Pacific. |
