Summary In this study, when drought occurs in Japan, a water intake limitation is generally set according to the flow rate of the river and the water retaining ratio of the dam, and there has been almost no consideration for durability to drought from the standpoint of users. For this reason, people vulnerable to disaster were identified in case of drought, a social experiment for water supply cutoff was carried out to learn about acceptable drought levels, and drought damage was investigated and analyzed. In addition, the use of basic units for new drought damage items caused by recent drought was considered.
