| Summary | Concrete overlay is considered as a standard method in rehabilitation of airport concrete pavement. Among several methods of concrete overlay, bonded concrete overlay is practical one because thin overlay is needed in airport due to strict slope restriction. However, this method is not widely used since it is difficult to gain enough bonding strength between overlay and existing slab. To solve this problem, the necessary bonding strength and the surface treatment method of existing slab to obtain that strength are studied. |
