| Summary | Design ground motions, especially for important facilities such as nuclear power plants, shall be formulated taking into account of major earthquakes possibly occur in the vicinity of the target site. In this study, empirical and semi-empirical techniques for evaluating site-specific ground motions considering characteristics of scenario earthquakes have been developed. |
